Falcated Duck (Falcated Teal) Anas falcata

An Asian species which certainly could and probably does occasionally turn up in the UK as a genuine vagrant. It is also a popular species in wildfowl collections and escaped birds also turn up, making it difficult to be sure about the origin of any seen in the wild.
