Black-necked Stilt Himantopus mexicanus

The American counterpart of our Black-winged Stilt Himantopus himantopus, formerly regarded as a race of Black-winged Stilt but now usually treated as a separate species. This form has not yet been recorded over here, but is perhaps a potential vagrant.
